America's Center
Run by the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission, America's Center is located in downtown St. Louis.
The massive convention complex spans 502,000 square feet of flexible space. In addition to exhibit halls, event planners also will find a ballroom, theatre and a dedicated floor for small meetings as well as on-site convention, catering and business services.
A labor relations liaison is also available for groups seeking to team up with local trade unions.
2008-2011 Renovation
In 2008, America's Center kicked off a three-year-long renovation project to give the aging complex (opened in 1977) a much-needed update.
The city spent $48 million on new behind-the-scene, energy-saving measures as well as a new roof, escalators, elevators, carpeting, air walls, paint and easier-to-see directional signs. Renovations were also conducted to the center's restrooms and catering kitchen (which can put out more than 15,000 meals a day).
St. Louis Executive Conference Center
The St. Louis Executive Conference Center can be found on the third floor of America's Center and is ideal for smaller gathering of 100 attendees or less.
Offering a "club level" type of experience, the center allows groups of a more intimate nature to meet in a facility designed just for them, instead of feeling out-of-place in the cavernous halls below.
Six meeting spaces can be used as general session rooms or breakout rooms while being just steps away from comfortable lounges, a dedicated business center and 3,520 square feet of dining space.
